About the NYC Commission on Human Rights

The NYC Commission on Human Rights is the city government agency tasked with enforcing the non-discrimination laws throughout the five boroughs. There are over two dozen protected classes in the areas of employment, housing, public accommodations, bias-based profiling by law enforcement, and discriminatory harassment.

Learn about your rights and get resources if you or someone you know are the victim of discrimination.

The Commission also provides free workshops on the various aspects of the Human Rights Law, including specific programs for youth."
